They Will Wake
1 min. 13 sec.
A thousand years after the Samrat Empire chained the great serpents beneath the mountains, the Maharaja's death lets them stir. Three days from the empty throne, the dead king's daughter Amrita reads a copper scroll naming the empire's founding crime and warning that the nagas will wake. The priest Vishwanath tells her they already have.

The Cost of Truth
1 min. 51 sec.
To claim the throne, Amrita must confess the theft every crown in seven kingdoms was built on — and be called traitor for it. On the temple steps she tells her bastard brother Ashoka that the empire enslaved the nagas and the chains are breaking. He pledges his soldiers just as a servant races up crying that the river has changed.

The Quick Kill
1 min. 27 sec.
In the far desert, the ruthless heir Meera hunts bandits and returns to Jaisal to her dying father Jaswant, the legendary naga-slayer. He begs her to take the throne before the vultures roost, haunted by dreams of thousands rising furious from the sand. The nagas are waking, he warns — all of them.

What If I Was Murdering Slaves
1 min. 17 sec.
Dying, Jaswant confesses the terror behind his glory: the empire didn't unite the kingdoms, it chained them, and his lifetime of slaying nagas may have been butchering slaves. He begs Meera to find a way forward without so much blood, then dies. As she breaks, a runner bursts in about the eastern courtyard.

A wounded golden naga is cornered in the courtyard, and Captain Amar wants it dead — but it fixes on Meera and grinds out human words. Kneeling within reach of its fangs, she learns her soldiers killed its brother and tells her court they've been wrong for a very long time. The naga names itself Suryakant, son of Takshaka, and offers one word: revenge.
