Persecutor No More

6 Episodes
Persecutor No More follows Saul of Tarsus, the young Pharisee who guards the cloaks at Stephen's stoning and never flinches. Certain he is doing God's work, he walks Jerusalem's streets with a scroll of names, emptying house after house until the believers scatter — then demands letters from the high priest so the hunt can follow them past the city wall. On the road to Damascus a light with no source throws him to the ground and a voice asks why he is persecuting Me, and the man who broke down doors is led into the city blind and shaking. A believer named Ananias, terrified of the name he has been sent to, lays hands on him and calls him brother. When Saul stands up in the Damascus synagogue and preaches the man he came to destroy, the gates are watched and the only way out is a basket over the wall — a series about conviction turned inside out, and how quickly the hunter becomes the hunted.
